Winter Classics

My ideas for future matchups:

1. Isles-Rangers (Giants Stadium)
I think this one is a no-brainer.

2. Pittsburgh-Philly (Beaver Stadium)
Same with this one.

3. Toronto-Ottawa (Rogers Centre)
Good for the Canadian fans.

4. Montreal-Boston (Gillette Stadium/Big O)
An Original Six matchup is always good.

Not sure if an "outdoor" game would fly in Dixie, but I made up #5 and 6 anyway.

5. Atlanta-Carolina (Georgia Dome, because it's a dome and would be able to have ice)

6. Tampa-Florida (where? any stadium they can put a roof on)

7. Chicago-Detroit
(I know it was done, but not at Ford Field)

8. Columbus-Nashville (Buckeye Stadium or Volunteer Stadium)
This one could have a record attendance.

9. Calgary-Edmonton (Commonwealth or McMahon)
The good old Battle of Alberta.

10. Colorado-Minnesota (Invesco or Metrodome)

11. Anaheim-LA (LA Coliseum)

12. San Jose-Phoenix (U of Phoenix)

13. Dallas-New Jersey (JerryWorld LOL)
A matchup made out of the 2000 Stanley Cup Final.

14. St. Louis-Vancouver (BC Place)
I think it would be great to have the Canucks play anyone as an attention-grabber for the Olympics.


15. Washington-Buffalo (RFK or the Ralph)
Just to finish off the list.
